The BuildSkills Academy project is proud to present a suite of 12 pilot course syllabi, specifically designed to integrate green and digital competencies into vocational education and training (VET) for the construction sector. These courses aim to equip professionals-from technicians to urban designers-with the skills needed to thrive in Europe’s green and digital transformation.
Developed by Leading VET Institutions Across Europe
The courses were co-developed by six prominent VET providers through international collaboration. Pilot implementation will begin in November 2025 across six countries:
Each syllabus is designed using the BuildEnrichedSkills Methodology (BESM) and its accompanying Self-Assessment Tool, ensuring alignment with industry needs and future skill requirements. The courses embed digital proficiency and sustainable practices to prepare learners for the evolving demands of the construction sector.

Looking to upskill or reskill? The pilot courses will be available from November 2025 through local VET providers in the six participating countries. Each course is designed to meet real-world demands and will be introduced in detail over the coming months.
